MILESTONE 4: OPEN THE DOOR FOR DIALOGUE

A young chap once came to the Prophet with a very strange request: "O Prophet, give me permission to commit adultery?". Imagine your teenager asking for this kind of permission. I would imagine the majority of the parents condemning the kid for this impolite illicit question. Only a minor will open a door for dialogue.

Our Prophet immediately understood the mentality of the young and went with him in a journey of logic and common sense. The Prophet first brought him very close -like a kind father sheltering his kid with love and affection- then asked him to sit down -thus removing any sign of tension and paving the path for a peaceful dialogue- then told him: "Do you like adultery to be committed on your mother?", immediate answer: "No Never", "Similarly others do not like it for their mom. Do you like it to your sister", "Never!", "..to your daughter...to your aunt,...to your ....."
