Four ingredients of getting the best out of a message:
1. The message itself. The message has to be powerful and influential like the message of Quran.2. Receiver of the message. If the strong message is received by a weak heart who does not appreciate the value and power of the message, then this strong message will not have the required effect.3. Presence of Condition to Effect: That is to give ear. If a strong message and a strong receiver does not pay attention and does not give ear, the message will not effect.4. Absence of Distracters: That is heedfulness. If a message is strong, the receiver’s heart is strong, and he (she) is listening, yet there are distracters and the mind is not dedicated to the message, then will not have a required effect. Now read the following verse and test these four ingredients by your self إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ (37) Verily, therein is indeed a reminder (Ingredient # 1) for him who has a heart (Ingredient # 2) or gives ear (Ingredient # 3) while he is heedful (Ingredient # 4).
