conversionPrior to my conversion to Islam, I lived my life as a Jew. Although my family was not traditional, I learned Judaism from traditional Jews. I went to an Orthodox Jewish synagogue, and an Orthodox Jewish school.

This article shades light on a Christian sect which is hardly known to Muslims, although they are very important in terms of their faith and prestigious history. Five among Presidents of the United States belonged to this sect. Moreover, they have a strong presence in the cultural and political arena of the United States. Religiously, they represent the opposite to the extreme fundamentalist's movement. In general, they are considered among the liberal groups who do not believe in the clashes of civilizations, and reject the crusader's project named "War against terrorism".

popeOn April 19, 2005 Cardinal Joseph Alois Ratzinger was elected the 265th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and chose to be named as Pope Benedict VXI. This event sparked  a new episode of Clash of Civilization, or rather Clash of religion.

SantaThe Christian World these days are deep into their Xmas. They claim to celebrate the birth of Jesus –Peace be Upon him-. Each nation celebrates religious festivals. Muslims celebrate two events after the completion of fasting the month of Ramadan and during the Hajj (Pilgrimage) days. In this article, I intend to compare Christmas celebration with Muslim's two Eids and want to show the difference in nature and objectives of the two.

Here is a comparison between Christmas and Islamic Eids (Religious Celebrations).
